Meeting sewalong - skillbuilding, charity quilt blocks.
We shall be concentrating on skills: scant 1/4" seams, pressing and trimming.
For each block you will need two 5" squares in medium to dark shades of blue and two 5" squares in white or white-on-white, four 2 1/2" squares in a medium or dark blue and four 2 1/2"
squares in white or white-on-white. Patterned blue fabrics are fine, as long as blue is the predominant colour.
Everyone ought to be able to make at least two blocks, so bring fabric accordingly.

You will also need a basic sewing machine with extension lead, neutral thread, rotary cutter with sharp blade & ruler, small scissors, stitch ripper, iron and mat, notebook, and a sharp pencil. A squaring-up ruler would be useful.
