Christmas tree quilt – working in teams on sections for the quilt. Bring sewing machine with extension lead, green and/or dark neutral thread, scissors, seam ripper, cutting mat and rotary cutter, straight ruler, small squaring-up ruler, pencil.

Fabric printing – bring light-coloured fabric, a small paintbrush and a pot for water. If you have any acrylic or rubber stamps for printing, please also bring these.
December 2025
Monday 1st – Christmas Party
Show & tell
Launch of shirt quilt – bring a man’s shirt, for example from a charity shop or purloined from your partner's wardrobe. Also bring large and small scissors and a seam ripper.
Party: snacks and drinks will be provided, please bring a small plate and a glass for your own use
Please bring a donation for the Malvern Food Bank.
Saturday 6th December - Sit & Sew Day

Workshop cost £50 for the two workshops, deposit £25.

Charity sewing evening
Bring sewing machine with extension lead, spare bobbin, neutral thread, scissors, seam ripper, cutting mat and rotary cutter, straight ruler, tape measure, iron, ironing pad, fabric (lightweight furnishing cottons are good).
Quilts for Careleavers provide quilted hugs for young people leaving the care system. As well as quilts, they also provide a Morsbag (a modified simple tote bag) to hold the quilt. This evening is an opportunity for us to produce bags for this registered charity. It is an opportunity to use up lightweight furnishing fabrics as well as orphan blocks.

Both projects could use overlocked seams.
