​Malvern Quilters' Summer Challenge 2024
I would like the focus for 2024/25 to be Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
 
Therefore your Challenge is to produce a ‘Quilt’ that illustrates an aspect of environmental concern that you feel strongly about.
 
It must

• Be A4 in size (8 ½” x 11 ½”) - the size of a standard sheet of paper
• Consist of 3 layers
• Be stitched through 3 layers (i.e. we can see the stitching on the back)
• Use only materials that would have been discarded in the bin. (be creative, it doesn’t have to be fabric)

 
It must not

• Be smaller or larger than A4
• Use any ‘virgin’ material

Your completed quilt should be presented to the group at the first meeting on 2nd September 2024.
You may submit more than 1 but no more than 2 quilts.
Please ensure your quilt has a title but must be anonymous.
It will be judged against the criteria set out above and the winning Quilt will win a £25 voucher for the Patchwork Basket.
