Textiles & Costumes of South-West China by Jill Salmon

Jill gave us a fascinating and instructive talk on the textiles and costumes of South-west China, and then a trunk show of some absolutely stunning textiles, which we were allowed to handle and marvel over. The young girls in that area begin to sew from the age of five, and the quality of the workmanship was incredible.
