Workshops and Sit & Sew Days

We hold workshops and Sit & Sew days at the Malvern Victoria Bowling Club.
Malvern Victoria Bowling Club, Victoria Park Road, Malvern.
From Victoria Park Road (off Pickersleigh Avenue), go through the car park and you will see a new café building ahead of you. Go to the left of this building and follow the single-track road down to the Bowling Club car park. Don't follow SatNav, as it'll take you to the Morgan factory!

Time: 10am-4pm. Tea & coffee will be provided; bring your own packed lunch.

Workshop costs: the cost for each workshop is listed on the Programme page. A deposit of £15 is due when the workshop place is booked, by email to [email protected]. Bookings will only be accepted if the deposit or full amount has been paid. Any outstanding balance is due two weeks before the workshop date.
Malvern Quilters' bank details

Lloyd’s Bank Ltd - Sort code: 30-98-97, Account name: Malvern Quilters, Account No: 80454060.
Please use your full name as your reference to ensure easy identification of your payment and workshop reference if you're enrolling for a workshop.

Workshop places: workshops are usually limited to twelve places because of both space constraints and being able to guarantee that the workshop tutor will be able to help everyone on the course.

Workshop materials requirements are linked on the relevant section of the Programme page. Extension leads are essential, an iron and pressing mat are useful.

It is recommended that in cooler weather you dress warmly for this venue, as although the hall is heated, it can be a little chilly early in the day. Layers are good!

Sit & Sew Days

Sit & Sew Days are an opportunity to do exactly that - sit & sew in the company of other quilters. Bring whatever you need for your project. Extension leads are essential, and an iron and pressing mat are useful. The large tables and space at the Malvern Victoria Bowls Club mean that it's an ideal opportunity to baste a quilt. Tea and coffee are provided, bring your own packed lunch.  If you can't stay for the full session, feel free to come when you can.
