NEXT MEETING: Monday 21st January with a talk from Lynne Adams who co-ordinates the Linus quilts in Worcestershire. Malvern Quilters have long been supporters of Linus Quilts, where people donate quilts to be distributed to children to provide a sense of security and comfort when they are going through tough times. Please bring any Linus quilts that you have to give to Lynne. Doors open at 7 pm for a cup of tea and a catch-up, ready for a 7.30 start. Visitors are welcome, just turn up on the evening. Entrance fee for visitors when we have a guest speaker is £4, and includes a cup of tea or coffee. We look forward to seeing you there.
Also on the 21st we will be doing a Show and Tell of all the Fidget Quilts we have made. These will be donated locally to support people with dementia.
The next meeting after that is on Monday 4th February with a talk on Textile and Art by Jill Peer.
